Cody then went to attend college at Western University, where he received two degrees in business Administration and Entrepreneurship. Within a week, I decided to start working there to help put money back for his car and have the same experience I had with my mother growing up.Īfter working all through High School at the restaurant. Thinking back of all the fond memories of watching and working with my mother, I wanted to have the chance to experience that with my son as well. Little did he know that one decision would spark a fire that would lead him being a restaurant owner himself. His goal was to put back money for his first car. When my son Cody Allen turned fourteen years old, he decided to start working at a family owned and operated restaurant, here in Murphy. She was able to do that with down home, southern hospitality. I remember my mother taking the time to make everything from scratch and with love and passion for turning her customers into and extended part of our family. It all began when I was a little girl watching my mother, an entrepreneur herself, work and run two restaurants of her own. The dream is to bring our small hometown of Murphy, North Carolina a nice, classy, and family orientated restaurant. Where a mother and son have decided to make their dreams come true. Welcome to Legends Steakhouse, a family owned and operated restaurant.
